Arkansas - CADC/AODA Distance Learning CertificationTraining
CADC/AODA (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor) is the credential required in Arkansas to treat alcoholics and drug addicts. ICDS provides the mandatory 270 hour education to become certified and is approved by the Arkansas Substance Abuse Certification Board.

| Work Experience | 3 years (6,000 hours) work experience under a certified or licensed behavioral healthcare professional* |
| Education | 270 hour addiction counseling specific education |
| Practicum | 300 hours paid or volunteer supervised practicum training in an addiction counseling environment |
| Test | IC&RC Alcohol and Drug Counselor written examination |
