Is it safe to pay for the independent studies over the internet?

Yes. We use the well known credit card acceping company paypal for payments. Paypal protects you by keeping your personal information private (even from ICDS), providing 24/7 fraud protection and 100% protection from unauthorized payments.

If you prefer to not pay online, feel free to download an order form and send us a check through the mail.

What is the turnover time for the courses and certificates?

If ordering on a week day, course materials will be sent out, either through mail or email, on the same day between 1:00pm and 5:00pm CST. If ordered on a weekend, the course materials will be sent the following Monday.

Certificates are mailed/emailed/faxed, depending on your preference*, between 1:00 and 5:00pm CST M-F. We're happy to accommodate you in emergency situations, just call - (866) 523-2669.

*New York certificates must be mailed (OASAS regulations)

WIll I receive the test with the course materials or after I've read the course?

All course materials are sent at the same time. The test is located in the back of the book.

Which licensures/certifications can be renewed with your CEUs?

Our CEUs are NAADAC approved, which means that most licensures/certifications will accept them for relicensure/recertification, including Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and a long list of addiction related licensures and certifications. We provide a list of states that accept our CEUs.

Can I retest if I don't pass the course the first time?

Yes. Certificates will be mailed or e-mailed to those achieving 70% or higher. Those who do not receive 70% can retest once they feel confident in their knowledge of the course(s).
