The Addiction Free Pain Management® (APM™) Certification School training is held over a three day time period and is designed to teach the skills needed to successfully work with people with chronic pain and potential or actual addictive disorders. Addictive disorders often lead to one set of biopsychosocial problems. When combined with pain disorders, they lead to another set of problems called the Addiction-Pain Syndrome™. This syndrome produces a synergistic outcome where one plus one no longer equals 2, but 3 or more.
