Instructor Application

Assist students in their journey to become a Chemical Dependency Counselor.

The Institute of Chemical Dependency Studies is looking for training coordinators, recruitment assistants, and instructors for our counselor training programs.

Applicant requirements

  • must be a Licensed or Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor;
  • minimum of 5 years work experience;
  • minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Criminal Justice.

Our instructors are hired to teach our curriculum, enhance our curriculum, and to share their personal experience as it applies to the curriculum. This requirement is for students to gain an enhanced understanding of what Chemical Dependency Counselor skills “look” like in real clinical situations.
